Wild Coasts – Our commitments
Wild Coasts aims to safeguard key protected areas that not only benefit the myriad forms of life that live in, on, and next to, the sea, but also have a huge impact on the coastal communities of which we are very much a part.
As well as being a hotspot for holidaymakers, Tor Bay is also one of the UK’s designated Marine Conservation Zones – areas identified as being of particular national significance because of the habitats and wildlife they contain.
The impact of plastic on our coasts, oceans, and the many species that depend on them (ourselves included) is now well documented. Although there is no doubt that this is a huge, global problem, it is also one that every single one of us can do something about.
