New developments at our zoos

In the Spring of 2022 Paignton Zoo will be home to 3 new African lions which will be arriving from Newquay Zoo.  This move is driven by a desire to provide the very best conditions for our animals. The enclosure at Paignton Zoo is many times larger than their existing home, and will provide them with substantially more room.

The health and welfare of our animals is always our top priority and we are constantly reviewing the ways in which we look after our animals.
